What we build
Custom Balloon Arches for Orlando Parties and Events
Put an arch over the right spot and it becomes the place guests gather, pose and post from.
Think of a balloon arch as a frame for the moment. It curves over a doorway, a cake table, a stage or a couple and tells everyone where to look. You get the visual punch of florals or draping at a much friendlier price, and it holds up on camera from across a ballroom or a backyard.
We design each arch around your party rather than a stock photo. First we look at the colors and the real dimensions of your space, then we choose the balloon blend: tiny 5-inch fillers, everyday 11-inch, oversized 18- and 24-inch accents, plus chrome, pearl or foil where they help. On the day, we bring everything, assemble the arch on-site and come back for it afterward.
Our arches show up at first birthdays, baby showers and gender reveals, bridal showers and weddings, graduation parties, quinceañeras, office celebrations and ribbon cuttings across Orlando. Families visiting for the theme parks book them too, for a birthday at the vacation rental. Any celebration with an entrance, a table or a photo spot has room for one.
Arch styles
The Balloon Arch Styles We Build
Shape sets the mood. Here is each arch style we offer and where it shines.
Organic balloon arches
Organic arches skip the repeating pattern. Balloons of different sizes cluster loosely, so the shape looks lush and a bit untamed, like the arches people save from social media. They take greenery and flowers beautifully and suit showers, weddings and big birthdays. Because they pack in more balloons per foot than a classic build, they sit a little higher on the price list.
Classic and spiral balloon arches
Classic arches are made from tight four-balloon clusters in one size, lined up along the frame. Rotate the colors cluster by cluster and you get a spiral that twists over the top. The look is tidy and strong, which is why it still wins for school spirit, UCF black and gold, sports banquets and company colors.
Round, circle and hoop arches
A circle arch wraps balloons around some or all of a ring. A fully covered ring frames a person for portraits, while a crescent leaves part of the hoop bare so a name panel or the view behind shows through. Ring and hoop arches are a favorite for proposals, sweet 16s and engagement photos.
Square and backdrop arches
A square arch climbs a rectangular frame and runs across the top, usually wrapping a backdrop panel, a shimmer wall or a flower wall. It turns a cake table into a little stage with clean edges for photos. When you want the arch and the backdrop designed together, start on our balloon backdrops page.
Half and asymmetrical arches
A half arch, also called a swoop or demi arch, rises on one side and stops partway across. It reads modern and intentional, and since it uses fewer balloons than a full span, it's one of the smartest ways to get a big look on a smaller budget.
Double arches
Two arches layered together, one nested inside or set just in front of the other, add depth where a single arch would feel thin. They work well in resort ballrooms, at ceremony sites and at store openings with wide entrances.
Mini and tabletop arches
Tabletop arches run roughly 4 to 6 feet and sit over a cake, dessert, gift or sweetheart table. They're the right size for condos, restaurant private rooms and vacation rentals where floor space is limited but you still want that framed-table photo.
Entrance and doorway arches
An arch over the door lets guests know they're in the right place before they ring the bell. We build them over front doors, garage doors, porch steps, clubhouse doors and storefronts. Outdoor entrance arches get weighted bases and extra ties for gusty storm-front afternoons, and adding balloon columns on either side completes the welcome.
Large and giant balloon arches
From 16 feet up, an arch can span double doors, a stage or a driveway. Grand openings, school events and community festivals sometimes need 25 to 40 feet built with 24- and 36-inch balloons. At that scale the job becomes a custom balloon installation, planned around the site and its wind exposure.
Balloon arches with flowers and greenery
Tuck silk or fresh blooms, eucalyptus, palm fronds or pampas into the clusters and the arch softens into something close to a floral piece. It's the most requested finish for bridal showers, baptisms and garden-style brunches under the oaks in Winter Park.

Sizing
Balloon Arch Sizes: Choosing the Right Length
Grab a tape measure before you pick a size. Too small disappears in photos; too big crowds the door.
| Arch length | Good fit for | Approx. balloons |
|---|---|---|
| 4–6 ft mini or tabletop | Cake, dessert or gift tables | 60–110 organic |
| 6.5–7 ft frame arch | A photo spot, one doorway, a small backdrop | 90–130 organic |
| 10–12 ft arch | Front doors, lanai doors, 8 ft backdrops | 150–220 organic or 60–75 classic |
| 16–20 ft arch | Double doors, stages, 10 ft backdrops | 240–360 organic or 100–130 classic |
| 25 ft and longer | Store openings, gyms, outdoor entrances | Scoped per site |
Length is measured around the curve, not along the floor. A 16–20 ft arch usually stands about 8–9 ft high and spans 8–10 ft across. Exact counts shift with balloon sizes and how dense the design is.
How many balloons go into a balloon arch? Plan on about 5–6 balloons per foot for a classic arch of 11-inch balloons, and roughly 12–18 per foot for an organic arch that mixes 5-, 11- and 18-inch sizes. That works out to around 70–110 balloons for a 6 ft organic arch and 240–360 for a 20 ft one. A pack of 50 covers a small tabletop or half arch, but not a full doorway.
Pricing
What Does a Balloon Arch Cost in Orlando?
Most full-size arches we build fall between $215 and $550. These are our starting points and the things that move them.
| Arch | Starting at |
|---|---|
| Tabletop or mini arch (4–6 ft) | $185 |
| Frame arch with garland (6.5–7 ft) | $215 |
| Doorway arch (10–12 ft) | $295 |
| Themed welcome arch with foil accents | $325 |
| Full balloon arch (16–20 ft) | $425 |
| Double, giant and 25 ft+ arches | Custom quote |
Delivery, setup and pickup are included across our core Central Florida area. Events more than 35 miles from downtown Orlando add a travel fee starting at $60.
What raises or lowers the price of a balloon arch:
- Length and density. A longer or fuller arch takes more balloons and more hands-on time.
- Style. Organic designs use more balloons per foot than classic or spiral ones.
- Balloon types. Chrome, pearl, double-stuffed custom shades and 18–36 inch giants cost more than standard latex.
- Extras. Florals, greenery, foil shapes, vinyl names, light-up marquee numbers and backdrop panels.
- How it stands. Most quotes include a frame; rigging from beams, trusses or a pool cage takes more labor.
- Where and when. A Sanford-to-ChampionsGate drive, an early install or a strict resort load-in window all count.
- Pickup. Teardown can be included, or skipped if you'd like to keep the balloons.
For an exact figure, send the date, venue, size and colors and we'll come back with a written quote. Our garland, column and backdrop pages each list their own starting prices too.

Wedding balloon arches
Arches for ceremonies, bridal showers, engagement parties, bachelorette weekends and anniversaries, usually in ivory, sand and champagne with flowers.
Graduation balloon arches
Arches in school colors for high school grad parties in late May and early June, and for college grads, who in Orlando celebrate in spring, summer and December.

Send-off arches for retirements, welcome-home arches for military families and returning travelers, and calm, simple arches for celebrations of life.
Colors and themes
Balloon Arch Colors and Themes Orlando Hosts Love
Send us an invitation, a screenshot or a single color swatch and we'll build the palette around it.
Palettes we build most often
- Black, white and gold. Milestone birthdays, retirements and New Year's Eve.
- Blush, ivory and champagne. Bridal showers, baby showers and first birthdays.
- Tropical brights. Coral, hot pink, turquoise and lime for pool parties and luau themes.
- Pastel rainbow. Kids' parties, Easter and anything meant to feel cheerful.
- Sage, sand, terracotta and dusty blue. The boho palette for showers and garden weddings.
- School and team colors. Grad parties and watch parties in UCF black and gold or Orlando City purple.
- Red, white and blue. Independence Day cookouts, military send-offs and homecomings.
Themes
For character parties, we pair licensed foil balloons of the characters with latex in matching shades, so the arch carries the theme without looking cluttered. Other themes we're asked for again and again: under the sea and mermaids, dinosaurs, tropical and luau, "two cool" ice cream, safari, and outer space with rockets, which feels right at home in Central Florida, where launches from the coast can be seen from many backyards.
Your options
Full Setup, Arch Rental or a DIY Kit?
There's more than one way to get an arch into your event. Here's how the options stack up.
| Option | What's included | Makes sense when |
|---|---|---|
| Full installation | Design, delivery, on-site build and pickup | The arch is the centerpiece and you'd rather not be on a ladder that morning |
| Balloon arch rental | A finished frame arch dropped off, then collected | Small arches, photo corners and simple setups |
| Grab-and-go garland | A ready-made garland you collect and hang | Short pieces for a table or wall on a tight budget |
| DIY kit | Balloons, a decorating strip and glue dots | Small arches, a free afternoon and a patient helper |
Can you make a balloon arch yourself? A small kit arch is a fair weekend project if you have a pump and some patience. A full organic arch is a different story: a pro crew needs one to three hours on-site, while first-timers often lose four to eight hours and make a second run for supplies. Balloons blown up too early or with the wrong pump also pop and cloud over, and in a hot Orlando garage that happens fast. When the arch is the main photo of the day, having it built is usually worth it.
Florida weather
Outdoor Balloon Arches in Orlando Heat, Humidity and Afternoon Storms
An arch can absolutely go outdoors here. It just needs to be planned around the sun and the 3 o'clock storm.
From June through September, Orlando afternoons run into the low 90s with a heat index well past 100, and thunderstorms tend to build somewhere between early afternoon and early evening. Central Florida sits in what forecasters call lightning alley, and hurricane season stretches from June 1 to November 30. Sun is the bigger enemy for latex, though: heat swells the air inside until balloons burst, UV turns the finish cloudy within hours, and black and navy soak up heat fastest. The upside is that December through April is mild, and outdoor arches last far longer then.
- Find the shade. A covered lanai, a porch, a tent or the shaded side of the house buys the arch hours.
- Build close to start time. For summer afternoon parties we schedule the install as late as practical, not at breakfast.
- Skip the helium outside. Outdoor arches are air-filled on a frame; floating balloons fade quickly in the heat.
- Go lighter in full sun. Whites, pastels and metallics outlast black and deep jewel tones in direct light.
- Weigh it down. Storm fronts kick up sudden gusts, so outdoor arches get heavy bases and extra tie points.
- Keep a storm plan. A passing shower won't hurt latex. Lightning or strong gusts mean moving the arch under cover or indoors until it clears.
Longevity
How Long Will a Balloon Arch Last?
Air-filled and indoors, you can count on several days. Outdoors in July, plan for the party itself.
| Setting | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Air-filled, indoors with air conditioning | Several days, frequently a week or longer |
| Air-filled, outdoors in shade (winter and spring) | A full day and often the next |
| Air-filled, outdoors in direct summer sun | A few hours before clouding and popping |
| Helium arches and floating bouquets | Hours, unless treated to float longer |
Will a balloon arch last 4 days? Air-filled and inside a cooled room, yes, which makes multi-day events and night-before installs easy. Can a balloon arch be set up the night before? Indoors, without a problem. For an outdoor arch between May and October, build it the day of the event.

Questions
Balloon Arches in Orlando: FAQ
What does it cost for a balloon arch?
Our arches start at $185 for a tabletop arch, $215 for a 6.5–7 ft frame arch and $425 for a full 16–20 ft arch, with delivery, setup and pickup included in our core area. Size, style, balloon count, extras and the drive set the final quote.
How long does a balloon arch last in Florida?
An air-filled arch inside an air-conditioned room lasts several days and often a week. Outdoors in shade it lasts about a day in the cooler months, while direct summer sun in Orlando shortens that to a few hours. Helium arches last hours unless treated.
How many balloons do I need for a balloon arch?
Figure 12–18 balloons per foot for an organic arch and 5–6 per foot for a classic one. A 6 ft organic arch takes roughly 70–110 balloons and a 20 ft organic arch about 240–360.
Is a balloon arch the same as a balloon garland?
Not quite. A garland is the bendable strand of balloon clusters, which can drape over a mantel, a table or a doorway. An arch is a garland or classic clusters built on a frame so it stands and curves by itself.
Are balloon arches filled with helium?
Usually not. Most arches are air-filled and held up by a frame, so they last longer and cost less. Helium is for floating arches and bouquets, which only last hours to a day.
Can you set up a balloon arch outside in Orlando?
Yes. Outdoor arches are air-filled, weighted and placed in shade when possible. In summer we build close to the start time and plan around afternoon storms, since heat, sun and lightning are the real risks.
Can you deliver a balloon arch to my resort hotel or vacation rental?
Yes. We deliver to vacation homes, condos and hotels across the area. Resort hotels often have their own rules for outside vendors and decor in guest rooms or event spaces, so we check with the property before the day.
How far in advance should I book a balloon arch?
Two to four weeks ahead is ideal. Book earlier for late-May graduations, Halloween and December weekends and spring wedding Saturdays, and ask about short-notice dates anyway.
Can a balloon arch be set up the night before?
Indoors, yes. An air-filled arch built the evening before looks the same the next morning. Outdoor arches, especially from May to October, should go up the day of the event.
Do you deliver and install the arch?
Yes. Full-service arches are delivered, built where they'll stand and collected after the event. Ready-made frame arches and grab-and-go garlands are available if you'd rather handle setup.
What if a guest is allergic to latex?
Ask for a latex-free design. Arches, walls and backdrops can be made from foil balloons, and many hospitals, clinics, schools and offices require foil only.
Should I tip the balloon decorator?
Tipping is optional. Some hosts tip the crew 10–15% for a large or very early install; others leave a review instead.
